I started this painting in 2022, initially planning to dedicate it only to that year, however, the work lasted for 2 years, and this painting is still relevant. David himself (Michelangelo’s statue) is an observer of what has been happening in our world for several centuries. He still stands and unwaveringly watches us.
This is a reminder that there are many things happening in the world, however, we need to continue to live, since happiness depends only on ourselves. David personifies the power and omnipotence of a free man. David symbolizes a person’s confidence that he can withstand anything.
